Mushfiq Mazhar

1. I am currently working with Ernst & Young (EY) as a Senior Accountant in the Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS).
2. I have worked with LCBO as a Lease Real Estate Analyst in the Real Estate Administration & Analysis (REAA). I have worked as an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) specialist and collaborated with the Accounting Policy team to help in the transition to the new lease standard (IFRS 16) from the old lease standard (IAS 17).
3. Previously, I have worked with International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), CBRE Real Estate, public accounting firm and a start-up technology company. I bring a diverse range of experience with a constant eagerness to grow and make the world an outstanding place. Sometimes, I can be quite finicky and apprehensive about complex accounting issues, however, I strive to break through the barriers and come to a value added reasonable analysis and solution which is only achieved by  persistence and perseverance.
4. I have graduated with a distinction in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with an Accounting Specialist & Economics Minor at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto (Uoft). I have achieved my Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting  (GDipPA) from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto which further enhanced and deepened my knowledge in Accounting, Audit & Tax.
